Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

This website is run by Jona Travel & Tours sh.p.k. (IONA Experience), NUIS K31624163S, Rr. Abdyl Frashëri, Pallati i Ri Jeshil, Kati 1, Tirana, Albania. We are responsible for the details you send us. Questions: incoming@jona-travel.al.

What we receive and why

  • Trip requests: the tailor-made form and the “Ask for dates” forms open your own email app with your message to incoming@jona-travel.al. We receive what you choose to send (usually your name, email, dates, who is travelling and your message) and use it only to reply with a proposal and a price.
  • WhatsApp: if you write to us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and your messages through WhatsApp, and use them only to reply.
  • Bookings: tours with open dates are booked and paid in TrekkSoft's booking window. TrekkSoft processes your booking and payment details for us; see TrekkSoft's own privacy policy in that window. We receive the booking so we can run your tour.

What this website does not do

The site has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it sets no cookies of its own. The TrekkSoft booking window may use its own cookies when you open it.

Who else is involved

  • Vercel hosts the website and keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and protect it.
  • Tour photos load from TrekkSoft's image servers.
  • TrekkSoft, for bookings and payments, as above.

How long we keep your details

We keep enquiries and bookings as long as we need them to answer you, run your trip and meet our legal and accounting duties, and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, restrict or object to how we use them, or give you a copy. Write to incoming@jona-travel.al. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the data protection authority in Albania, the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data (IDP), or to the authority in your own country.

Changes

If we change how this website handles your details, we will update this page and the date above.
